Aims and scope
Sustainability of Green Sciences and Technologies is an interdisciplinary scholarly journal dedicated to research that advances sustainable science, green technologies, environmental protection, resource efficiency, circular economy, clean energy, sustainable processes and low-carbon development.
The journal welcomes fundamental, applied, computational, experimental, modelling, systems, policy-relevant and interdisciplinary studies that contribute demonstrably to sustainability. Preference is given to work that provides scientific novelty, methodological rigour, measurable environmental or sustainability benefits, or a meaningful technological pathway toward sustainable development.

Out of scope
Manuscripts are normally unsuitable when they have no substantive sustainability, green science, environmental, resource-efficiency or clean-technology connection; contain insufficient scientific novelty; are purely descriptive without rigorous analysis; or fall primarily within another discipline without a meaningful connection to the journal’s scope.
Target readership
The journal is intended for researchers, engineers, scientists, academics, environmental professionals, policymakers, industry specialists, sustainability practitioners, technology developers, postgraduate students, and organisations working in sustainable development and green technologies.
Because that readership spans laboratory science, engineering practice and policy, manuscripts should make their sustainability contribution explicit rather than assuming a reader from the author’s own sub-field. Abstracts are written to stand alone for abstracting and indexing services.

The journal is establishing a long-term digital preservation strategy. Archiving may use recognised preservation services, institutional repositories, national systems, or other established digital preservation programmes.
Published articles will receive persistent identifiers where feasible, and metadata will be preserved independently of this website, so that the record survives even if the site itself does not.
The designated service will be named on this page as soon as the arrangement is concluded. Until then the journal makes no claim about preservation coverage it has not secured.

Indexing and abstracting strategy
The journal will pursue indexing only after establishing a stable publication record, transparent editorial practices, regular publication, qualified editorial boards, peer review, ethical policies, persistent metadata and sufficient scholarly content.
Potential services may include relevant national and international abstracting databases, DOAJ where eligibility is met, Crossref, Google Scholar, Dimensions, OpenAlex, Scopus, Web of Science and subject-specific databases as appropriate. Inclusion is never guaranteed and must be based on each service’s current criteria.
SGST will never claim indexing, impact factors, rankings or memberships before they are officially confirmed. This page currently lists no index, because none has yet been secured.
Journal metrics and responsible evaluation
The journal uses metrics responsibly and transparently. No single metric is presented as a substitute for article quality or scientific impact.
SGST does not manipulate citations, does not encourage unnecessary self-citation, and does not require authors to cite journal articles without scholarly justification. Reviewers are likewise instructed not to request citations solely to increase personal citations or journal metrics.
Any journal metric displayed on this website will be accurately named, sourced, dated where appropriate, and distinguished from unofficial or misleading indicators.
